Understanding Bookings & Commissions
Commission is per completed booking by channel. Manual bookings you add in the dashboard are free of commission.

Overview
The Subscription page documents Pricing & Commission Policy in plain language: a higher per guest rate applies to bookings completed through the WellBooked platform, and a lower per guest rate applies to bookings completed through your WellBookedΓÇæpowered website and to bookings through the WellBooked booking widget (including when that widget is on your existing site or Google Business). Bookings you manually create in the manager app are explicitly free of commission. Commission applies only to completed reservations; cancelled or no how bookings are not charged. The Costs & Commission page (under Subscription & Costs, visible for Pro in the sidebar) turns this policy into numbers: it separates platform commission from channel commission, shows rates per guest, current period usage, projected commission, upcoming invoice estimates, and invoice history with expandable booking detail. Standard plans still see the policy text on Subscription but typically do not see the Costs & Commission navigation item. Currency in the UI is commonly euros; exact charged amounts appear on Stripe invoices.

Tips & Best Practices
Use Costs with analytics
Bookings analytics and customer analytics help explain spikes in commission guests.
Watch outstanding balance
The Costs KPI row highlights overdue amounts that need payment attention.
Confirm plan access
If Costs & Commission is missing from the sidebar, check whether the venue is on Standard and use Stripe for subscription-side documents.
