Updating Payment Methods
Payment methods are not edited inside WellBooked. Owners open Stripe''s secure Billing Portal from the Subscription page.

Overview
WellBooked uses Stripe for subscription billing. To add, replace, or remove a card and to update billing details, an Owner opens the Stripe Customer Billing Portal. In the manager app, go to Subscription & Costs, then Subscription. On the Current Plan card, use Open Billing Portal. That opens a new browser tab on Stripe where you can manage payment methods and related subscription settings. Admins see the Subscription page but do not get the portal button; they should ask an Owner to update payment details if needed.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Sign in as Owner
Only the venue Owner role can launch the billing portal from the app.
Open Subscription
In the sidebar, choose Subscription & Costs, then Subscription.
Launch the portal
Click Open Billing Portal on the Current Plan card. Allow the pop up if your browser blocks it.
Update payment methods in Stripe
In Stripe's portal, add or edit the default payment method and confirm any prompts. Stripe stores card data; WellBooked does not collect card numbers in the manager UI.
Return to the manager app
Close the portal when finished. If you changed subscription status, the Subscription page will reflect updates after refresh or short polling.
Tips & Best Practices
Update before expiry
Replace cards a few weeks before they expire if your venue relies on uninterrupted Pro features.
Use portal for invoices too
