Make your place visible to customers on WellBooked when every readiness requirement is met.
Platform Visibility and Publish controls whether your place is visible to customers on WellBooked. The Publish Place action is only enabled when an eight-item completion checklist is satisfied and your place is verified. You can still Preview at any time; publishing is the step that exposes your public page to customers.
Select your place, then go to Platform Visibility and choose Publish.
The page shows progress (eight items). Each incomplete item has an Edit shortcut to the right Profile screen (or Subscription where applicable)
Place profile (name, phone, areas, categories, and cuisines when applicable), opening hours with at least one period, location with address and city, pricing with average price set, at least one published menu, a hero image, an **active Core or Premium subscription (not canceled), and Place verification approved by WellBooked.
If verification is pending or documents were requested, informational banners explain that publishing is not available until your place is approved.
Use Preview for a final look, then click Publish Place. Confirm in the dialog; your status moves to Published and customers can discover you.
The app blocks publish until all eight items are complete; fixing them in order (profile then content then subscription then verification) reduces back-and-forth.
Verification is mandatory for publishing; plan content work while verification is in progress so you can go live quickly after approval.
Large menu or image updates warrant another Preview pass; major operational changes may also affect customer trust if the live page lags.
Unpublish Place hides you from customers, use it when you must pause discovery, understanding that the action requires confirmation.
You can Unpublish Place (with confirmation), open Preview, or Copy URL from the status card. Keep Profile updated so the live page stays accurate.
