Publishing Your Website
Go live on your public `/r/{slug}` site when the 10-item readiness checklist is complete.
Video tutorial coming soon
Overview
Web Site Visibility Publish shows whether your hosted website is live, your public URL, and a 10-step readiness checklist. Publish Website stays disabled until every item is satisfied; Unpublish Website hides the site behind a confirmation dialog. This is independent of Platform Visibility and Publish, which controls discovery on the main WellBooked marketplace, not your standalone website.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Web Site Visibility -> Publish
Review the status card (Published vs Not Published) and the progress bar for the checklist.
Complete all 10 checklist items
Place name (Profile and Basic Info). Place logo and website description (min. 150 characters) and about text (min. 100 characters) on Web Site and Content. Address and city and phone (Profile). Opening hours with at least one day that has periods. Hero image and at least three gallery images (Profile then Images). At least one published menu (Profile then Menu).
Use Edit shortcuts
Each incomplete row links to the correct page (Basic Info, Content, Location, Opening Hours, Images, or Menu) so you can fix gaps quickly.
Preview first
Click Preview to open Web Site Visibility and Preview: an embedded consumer page with desktop/tablet/mobile frames and Refresh. While unpublished, this uses a secure preview token; after publishing you can Copy URL and Open in WellBooked from the preview toolbar when available.
Tips & Best Practices
Meet minimum copy lengths early
Short descriptions or about text will block publishing even if everything else looks fine.
Gallery count is strict
You need three gallery images in Profile, not only a hero image.
Published menu vs draft menu
At least one menu must be in published status for the checklist to pass.
Permissions
Publish and unpublish respect the same write rules as other sensitive actions (typically owner/admin); readers may see the page without those controls.
