Overview
Opening times drive what guests and booking can assume about when you are open. In WellBooked, open Profile then click Opening Hours: you will see a General tab for your recurring weekly pattern and a Special tab for specific dates (closures or different hours) that override the week.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Opening Hours
In the left sidebar, go to Profile then click Opening Hours.
Set general weekly hours
On the General tab, set your regular open and close times for each weekday. You can add multiple time windows on the same day (e.g. lunch and dinner). Mark a day as closed if you do not serve that day.
Add special or holiday hours
Open the Special tab, add a date, and set hours or a full-day closure. Use this for public holidays, private events, or any day that differs from your General pattern.
Save each tab as you go
Use the header Save action while the tab you are editing is active, so the correct form is submitted (General vs Special).
Align with booking rules
If your plan includes Bookings then click Availability and time slots, keep General and Special hours aligned with the services you really offer so expectations stay consistent (availability features appear only on plans that show the Bookings section).
Tips & Best Practices
Model the real week first
Get your typical General pattern right before you spend time on rare exceptions in Special.
Use split times for split services
Add a second open/close pair on a day if lunch and dinner are not continuous service.
Plan holidays in advance
Add Special entries early for dates you already know will differ from your normal week.
Keep it consistent with the floor
If you close the kitchen at a certain time, your last seating should still fall inside the hours you publish.
