Inviting Team Members
Give colleagues access to the manager app for the current place using email invitations and roles.

Overview
Team access in the manager app is per place. Open Team in the sidebar then click Invitations, while you have a place selected. You can send a new invitation with the colleague's email address and a role. The Owner role is never created through invitations; it belongs to the account that owns the place. After someone accepts, they appear on Team and Staff, where owners can adjust certain roles or remove members. Use the info icon on the page to open the in-app Invitations guide for statuses and tips.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Select the right place
Switch to the place the person should work in. Invitations always apply to that place only.
"Open Team and Invitations"
In the sidebar, open the Team section and choose Invitations.
Use Send New Invitation
Enter the person's email and choose their role from the dropdown. The form does not collect a separate name field; identity comes from their profile when they accept.
Pick a role that matches the job
Admin can manage most place content (with limits described in the Staff guide). Bookings Manager focuses on reservations and guest-related work. Waiter is used for floor and table-service workflows. Which roles appear can depend on your subscription plan (for example, some plans adjust which roles are offered). Owner cannot be selected here.

Tips & Best Practices
Use work emails when possible
That makes it easier to recover access and keeps invitations separate from personal inboxes.
Follow up on Pending
Invitations can expire; check history and resend if someone missed the email.
Least privilege
Use Bookings Manager (when available) or narrower roles for staff who should not edit menus, media, or broader settings.
Invite per place, not globally
Access is tied to each place, so make sure you are sending the invitation from the correct venue.
