Setting Up Your Menus
Profile Menu subsection is your hub for one or more menus, including scan-based menu creation, sections and items, and publish status.
Video tutorial coming soon
Overview
Open Profile -> Menu in the left sidebar. You will see a list of your menus; from here you can create a menu, open one to add sections and items, use scans/photos to generate content where available, and change status (such as published vs draft) so guests only see what is ready. The QR Codes page can expose a public menu QR for guests; see that article for downloading codes.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Menu list
Go to Profile then click Menu.
Create a new menu or open an existing one
tart a new menu, give it a clear name (e.g. food, bar, weekend brunch), or open a card to edit a menu you already have.
Add content
Build sections and items with names, descriptions, and prices. If your team uses the scan workflow, start from uploaded scans and follow the processing steps until items look correct, then refine manually.
Add covers and item photos where you use them
Upload a cover and item images when your layout calls for them, keeping file types and size limits in mind (JPEG/PNG in line with the uploader's rules)
Publish when ready
Set the right status so only finished menus are shown to the public, and re-open a menu for seasonal or price changes.
Tips & Best Practices
Start with a simple structure
A few clear section names (Starters, Mains, Drinks) beat a long, flat list for mobile readers.
Proof after scans
Automated processing can misread a line; always spot-check before publishing.
Match tone to your place
Two lines of description per signature dish often tell a better story than a blank item name and price only.
